1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website and engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Essex MOT & Scooter Workshop provides MOT testing (Class 1 & 2), moped and scooter repair, servicing, diagnostics, and related maintenance services. All services are subject to availability and our standard terms of business.

3. MOT Testing

• MOT tests are conducted in accordance with DVSA standards and regulations
• A valid MOT certificate is issued upon successful completion of the test
• If your vehicle fails, a free retest is available within 10 working days, subject to DVSA rules
• We reserve the right to refuse to test any vehicle that is deemed unsafe or not in a suitable condition

4. Repairs & Servicing

• All repair work is carried out by qualified technicians using appropriate parts and procedures
• We will provide an estimate before commencing any significant repair work
• Any additional work discovered during service will be communicated and agreed before proceeding
• Parts replaced during service remain the property of Essex MOT & Scooter Workshop unless otherwise agreed

5. Pricing & Payment

• Prices quoted are valid for 14 days from the date of quotation
• Payment is due upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing
• We accept cash and major debit/credit cards
• We reserve the right to retain any vehicle until all outstanding charges are paid

6. Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Repeated missed appointments may require a deposit for future bookings.

7. Liability

While every care is taken in the provision of our services, Essex MOT & Scooter Workshop shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
